“Vibe coding,” coined by Andrej Karpathy in February 2025, is the hot new way to build software: describe what you want in natural language, and a coding-tuned LLM writes it for you. The term was added to Merriam-Webster the last month as a “slang & trending” noun.

Here’s what to expect:
